A few weeks after leaving my ex-partner, I leaned that nude photos of me had been sent in the mail to my family and friends. One of my friends told me about it. She was shocked. I feel so defeated. He did this to shame me, to smear me. When I think about it, I can’t breathe.

What should I do?

  • I’m ashamed to talk about it… but a month later, I finally decide to make a report. I can’t let him win.

  • I act like it’s no big deal, hoping that everyone will forget about it eventually.

  • I speak to a support worker who works with victims of intimate partner violence.
